The Charlie Brown V4 has the same heart and soul as the previous model, while offering more flexibility. The Drive control adjusts the amount of overdrive in the signal. Below 50% it's a low-gain overdrive in the Hendrix style; in the second half, it's a new world of crunchy bite unique to the brand; at maximum, it's a surprisingly powerful high-gain overdrive. The V4 version now features 3-band equalization for better reproduction of vintage Marshall amps. Only works with a standard external power supply (not included).
