Earthquaker Devices Octaver Bit Commander V2

Earthquaker Devices Octaver Bit Commander V2

Monophonic analog guitar synthesizer with 4 octaves of vintage square wave synth sounds. Using dedicated volume controls, you can combine 2 lower octaves, 1 lower octave and 1 upper octave. The Base control transforms the signal into a square wave, which automatically results in a fuzz effect, while the Filter acts as a tone control primarily affecting the high frequencies. Like any analog octave, play single notes (because it's monophonic) and preferably on the high part of the neck, from the 7th fret onwards, as there's a greater chance of detuning with lower notes. The 2017 version 2 uses a silent relay switch to avoid switching noise.
